Data Stored Locally on Your Device

VocalRun is designed with privacy as a core principle. All gameplay data, vocal range information, scores, and performance metrics are stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store this information on our servers or any backend infrastructure.

The following information is stored locally on your device only:

Vocal Range: Your detected vocal range (highest note, lowest note)
Gameplay Scores: Your high scores, performance history, and game statistics
Game Progress: Your progress through songs and gameplay sessions
Performance Metrics: Pitch accuracy data, timing data, and other gameplay analytics
User Preferences: Your game settings, difficulty preferences, and audio settings

This data remains entirely under your control and is never transmitted to our servers or third parties, except as described in the next Section below.

Information automatically collected

Device information: Platform (iOS/Android), operating system version, and app version
Purchase information: Subscription and payment data processed through RevenueCat and Apple/Google’s payment systems

How we use your information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Service delivery: To provide you with personalized affirmations and notifications based on your preferences
App improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve app functionality, design, and user experience
Customer support: To respond to your feedback and support requests
Subscription management: To process and manage your premium subscription

Analytics data: Analytics and error tracking data is retained according to our third-party providers’ policies (typically 90 days to 2 years). Local data: Data stored on your device remains until you uninstall the app or clear app data.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

Limited access to personal data by authorized personnel only However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

VocalRun is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to VocalRun, please contact us immediately at the address provided in Section 11.

International Data Transfers

VocalRun is operated from Germany. If you are accessing the App from outside this jurisdiction, please be aware that your data may be processed and stored in different jurisdictions. By using VocalRun, you consent to the transfer of your information to jurisdictions outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy in the App and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.

As this app is primarily operated from and targeted at users in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
